Artworks & Projects > Warna (Ground)

Units of measurement shape our view of the ground beneath our feet. This series of textile works mirror the one metre square, a device too often used to render the country into blank portions of property. Through the fabric’s cotton fibres and the plant dye carried in these fibres, they are a continuation of country. These works have no edges.
